MANY NEW METEOR REPORTS COMING SOON Posted on 13 January, 2012, 11:04 am in LA Meteors Hey folks, just an update. Since late October, we've been running a new higher fidelity, higher frame rate M1 camera. It's been wildly successful, and has captured many more fireballs than the previous rig. As such, I am having difficulty keeping up with the large quantity of videos needing to be posted on the site. I am working on an automated solution, but it's still in the works. Also in the works is getting the new M1 camera setup to work with the archive footage link. For now, please email me directly at info@oakgroveobservatory.com if you've seen a fireball and would like to know if we've got footage. Most likely, we do. To date, we have 32 extra videos on file covering the months of November, December and January! It's been an extremely busy end of year! -Mike |
